WELCOME

I’m so glad you’re here! I believe therapy should be a collaborative experience—you’re the expert on your own life, and my role is to support and guide you toward meaningful growth. Sessions with me are relational and human. Therapy doesn’t have to feel cold or clinical; I love a good laugh and believe healing happens best when we can be fully ourselves.

You won’t find judgment here. So many of my clients carry shame they’ve held onto for years, and I believe therapy should be a space where that weight can begin to lift. I’ll hold compassion for you, especially on the days it’s hard to hold it for yourself.

I’ll always meet your story with care and gentleness. And when patterns or parts of you are keeping you stuck, I’ll show up as a kind and honest challenger. Together, we’ll build the safety and trust to face what’s hard without turning away from it. Above all, I strive to create a warm, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. It would be a privilege to join you on this path.

BACKGROUND & SPECIALIZATIONS

As a licensed therapist, I have over ten years of experience working with individuals and families across various settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practice. I specialize in helping adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, depression, and stress, particularly when tied to self-esteem, people-pleasing, overachieving and perfectionism. As someone who’s worked through these struggles myself, I get it, and that helps me show up with compassion and real understanding.

I especially enjoy working with female teens, college students, and young professional women who are self-aware and motivated to grow. As a biracial (Asian/White) therapist, I also understand the complexities of identity for biracial and multiracial individuals and am passionate about providing a supportive space to explore these experiences.

My approach is person-centered and integrative, tailoring tools and techniques to fit your unique needs. I often incorporate evidence-based modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to working with clients, I’m a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor, offering clinical supervision for social workers pursuing licensure.

Beyond this practice, I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and I see infinite value in incorporating mindfulness techniques that promote a feeling of connection, awareness, and balance between your mind and body.

Outside of therapy, you can often find me exploring local coffee shops, listening to live music, taking a yoga or pilates class, or diving into interior decorating.
